The New Business Model for Car Dealerships


The only thing for certain in the new car dealership business is change. With the manufacturers forming new alliances with governments and new vehicle sales a challenge a new business model must be developed at your store. This model understands the importance of fixed operations at this critical time. Customer retention can no longer be assumed and must be earned on every visit. Fast-moving items sold in service and parts departments must be competitive and not drive customer’s away thinking they've been taken advantage of. Gone are the days where dealerships can justify charging $30 per wiper blade because it's got of manufacturers logo on it. The new business model will get dealers through this challenging environment and continue to prosper the company when new car sales return also.
