State Submission Requirements

  • Oldest RO in Days: 180
  • Number of Qualifying RO’s (a): 100
  • Or 60 Days of consecutive RO’s (b)
  • OEM Response – Days: 30
  • Increases Begins After OEM Receives submission unless disputing results – Days: 30

State Inclusion/Exclusions

  • Internals & Reconditioning.
  • Parts sold at wholesale.
  • Engine and Transmission assemblies.
  • Routine Maintenance, including but not limited to, Fluids, Filters, Belts, Nuts, Tires, Bolts or Fasteners unless included in otherwise qualified repair.
  • Repairs for which a volume discount was negotiated with a third-party payer, including government agencies, insurance carriers, and fleet operators, but not including third-party warranty companies or service contract companies. Fleets and Gov. Agencies, Insurance Carriers.
  • Goodwill Policy.
  • Vehicles owned by franchisee or employee.
  • Glass and window replacement.
  • Safety and/or Emission Inspections required by law.

Notes: If the State Statute does not specifically list the item as excluded, the OEM will use their own definition on what to exclude from the submission. In Connecticut dealers may apply twice per calendar year.
